Hello parents!
Today we read together to the end of Chapter 22 in the novel Frankenstein. We've been reading together for about a month and have a second assignment due Tuesday, October 24th. The details are on the right-hand side of this blog.
We have also been using the Ministry approved Desire to Learn (D2L) platform to augment the in-class learning. Your child should be able to show you what we are doing in this secure online learning environment at home.
If you have any questions between now and the end of the semester, please call the school or drop a comment on this blog.

“Words! Mere words! How terrible they were! How clear, and vivid, and cruel! One could not escape from them. And yet what a subtle magic there was in them! They seemed to be able to give a plastic form to formless things, and to have a music of their own as sweet as that of viol or of lute. Mere words! Was there anything so real as words?”
